The Principals



Managing Director
No longer ´on the tools´, Dave is the company´s founder and has more than 50 years´ experience as a plasterer. He is well known throughout plastering and building industries. Away from work, he is  a member of the Rotary Club  and an active Freemason.


Senior Quantity Surveyor
Mark joined the company in February 1989 and, since then, hardly a job has been undertaken by Tabner Plasterers without passing through his hands. He was previously a quantity surveyor for RM Douglas Construction and also worked for Darlington Decorators. Mark is an important member of the senior management team at Tabners.


Contracts Manager

Colin is the main point of contact for all our clients and site managers.




Apprentice Estimator

Owen joined the company in October 2016, from Middlesbrough College, and is learning his new role with the help of a mentor.  He has applied and been accepted at Teesside University to do his HNC which he will start in September.




HSE and Training Officer
Debbie is a former branch manager for Barclays Bank and has been with the company for 7 years. Her role includes keeping the company abreast of statutory health and safety requirements, developing safety policies, preparing method statements and risk assessments, and delivering general induction and specialised safety training to staff.



Office Manager
Sarah joined Tabners in July 2004 after working in a similar capacity with a technology company and now fulfils a key management role in the day-to-day running of the business.


Office Administrator
Val joined the company in a part-time capacity,  and has proved to be a valuable team member
